What Should I Ask for When I Want "A Couple Layers"?
This is one of the most common things we hear, and it means something different to almost everyone. It can mean a little shape around the face, movement through the lengths without losing weight at the ends, or a full, visible layered look.
Show us photos, point to where you want movement, and tell us how you style your hair on a normal morning. We will translate that into a plan and explain it back to you before the first snip. If something is not what you pictured, tell us right away, and if you notice something after you get home, tell us within seven days of your visit and we will do our best to make it right at no additional charge. A personalized, tailored cut with a consultation, a shampoo and a style. Short and clean or longer with texture, tell us how it fits into your week and we will build it to suit. How Do You Make a Kid's First Haircut Easy?
Our children's haircut is for kids ten and under, with a shampoo included. We keep it relaxed and move at your child's pace. Want a blow dry finish? Call us to add it so we can schedule the extra time. Bringing a favorite toy can help a nervous kid settle in. Do You Offer Styling, Blowouts and Updos?
Yes, and they are great for girls' nights, dates, dances and weddings. You will find a Blow Out with a shampoo and hot tool finish, a Special Occasion Style (down or half up), a Dry Style Express for a quick polished finish, and an Updo for formal looks. At SALT Salon + Spa, 744 Main St Ste 101, in Antioch, open since 2019. Our founder started as a shampoo assistant at a salon in downtown Antioch and now provides advanced haircutting training for the whole team, which is why French cutting is the house technique rather than one stylist's specialty.
We cut for guests from Lake Villa, Lindenhurst, Lake Catherine and Fox Lake, and from Salem Lakes and Bristol over the Wisconsin line. A women's cut runs 45 to 60 minutes with the consultation, scalp massage and blow dry, and a men's cut 30 to 45 minutes.
